KLEINE ZEITUNG:
Sold out with a record number of visitors: the ski opening in Schladming took place in front of 16,000 fans. Before that, DJ star Martin Garrix was not the only one to enjoy perfect slope conditions.

fire and ice – and a few other effects too. The DJ stars had already been pulling out all the stops on stage at the Schladming Ski Opening since the afternoon, but headliner Martin Garrix went one better from 9.30 pm. There was no stopping the audience – also because at around minus 10 degrees every movement made things a lot easier. The highlight was a huge firework display after the show at around 11.30 pm.
Great news for all fans of the young DJ from the Netherlands was announced before his performance on stage – Garrix will return next year as the headliner for the new “Electric Nation Vienna” festival on July 28 in Vienna’s Krieau. Also on the bill are ski opening stars Alan Walker and Alle Farben, as well as three-time Echo winner Robin Schulz, US export Deorro and many more.
