A flying visit in front of a big backdrop
Named the best DJ in the world by DJ MAG 100 and the most commercially successful superstar in the music industry, French DJ and producer David Guetta made a guest appearance at the trotting track in Vienna’s Krieau district on Saturday – in front of an impressive backdrop. There were 40,000 spectators. Guetta’s recipe for success is as simple as it is successful. He engaged US stars such as Kelly Rowland, Akon, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne as guest singers and took the US market by storm.

Guetta’s story is quickly told: As a young DJ, he discovers house, works his way up the ranks in French clubs, becomes a celebrated hero in Ibiza and then goes on to make his own CDs. In 2009, he worked as a producer for the US group The Black Eyed Peas and released his album “One Love” at the same time.
